Admission Procedure and Entry Requirements :
Admission
to the of tile Bangladesh University of Textiles is highly competitive and needs a
high academic attainment at the S.S.C and H.S.C level. Selection of the
student for admission is made through admission test of 200 marks and
considering GPA of S.S.C and H.S.C (Details in Admission Notice).
Students get chance to take admission according to merit.

Program: Undergraduate (B.Sc in Textile Engineering)
Major Area: Yarn / Fabric / Wet Processing / Apparel Manufacturing/Textile management/Fashion Designing
Duration: 4 Years

The entry requirements for admission test are :
- Students must be Bangladeshi by birth or legal immigrant.
- Passed S.S.C (Science) and H.S.C (science) with at least GPA 4.00 from any Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education or equivalent of 2011
- Passed H.S.C (Science) or equivalent examination on total GPA 13 but individually not below grade Point 3.50 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Academic Year and Medium of Instruction
The academic session commences from 1st July each year and ends on 30th June. The medium of instruction is English.
Admission of Foreign Students
Foreign Students must apply well in advance through their respective embassies in Bangladesh to the Ministry of Education.
